‘it’s high time you leave my son’s house, I don't condone your shameless behavior". I don’t see who the woman is,’ my mother-in-law spoke up. I don't know why, but ever since the dawn of time, She always had a way to piss me off. I believe she wanted me out of her son's life, but I love ❤️ him with all my heart.

My Mother in law came to our home like a devil in sheep's clothing. Unfortunately, my man was a "mamas boy" She was supposed to stay for a week but overstayed her welcome for months now.

Every sunrise I was tormented by her nagging cravings. it was almost like she was my child. I don't hate her but she never took me as a woman but like a housewife. 

 At first, I was just trying to fit in with her, but it reached a point of no return. As if that wasn’t enough, my husband was defending her every time there was a disagreement.

‘Mom, I am dedicated to giving you offspring but, we can only plan but God provides. Honestly, We tried all possible ways you can think of. A Child is a gift from God and not a tool you buy from a shop? I know how much my husband wants a child and I do too. let us just wait on the Lord.’ I responded making sure not to face her.

"You listen to me, young girl. It is not that I hate you but in our community, it is an offense to stay long without offspring. I know Bruce to be a Young gallant man and he treats you like a queen of which you don't deserve. A child is the only thing that matters to me, I have been pleading with you to visit a witch doctor but all these charismatic prayers of yours keep getting in your way. Tell me how long am I going to wait? Five more years? Am not getting any younger, neither is my son. Do you want me to die before I can see my grandchild? " She responded making sure to look me in the eye.

"Mum please understand my situation we should not rush into accusations. Am not waiting to see you dead. Bruce, kindly tell her, we have been trying repeatedly but our time is yet to come." I replied, turning my attention to Bruce, who appeared to be in another world.

"Mom I don't know where you are getting at, with this. Kindly give us some room to talk things over. We will get a child soon. Mother, patience is a virtue we hold dear."  Bruce acknowledged

"Bruce, be quiet, or else I will make you. How long do you think you will endure the humiliation from your brothers and sisters who have sired for me grandchildren. Bruce, you are my eldest but acting as my youngest. Defend her now and forever hold your peace. I know you don’t have a problem but your wife on the other hand is something else entirely" She said this time with fury

"Mum I would suggest you leave my House before you cause a scene," Bruce added although still afraid of his mother.

"I will let myself out but when I come back, I expect a bouncing baby boy on the doorstep. I don't care how you do it but don't disappoint me son you know the repercussions that will await you and that is a warning ⚠️  take it seriously," she emphasized and left,  banging on the door behind her.
